Product Manager Associate - Sustainability & Climate (AI Focus)

Your Team Responsibilities

Join MSCI’s Private Assets Product teamfocused on Sustainability & Climate (S&C) solutions, where you will help deliver the next generation of AI-enabledplatformsolutions forparticipants in private markets.This product management role exists to accelerate the development ofcutting-edgesolutionsfor S&C acrossinstitutionalinvestors and managers—withtools that supporttheirinternal workflows andinvestmentprocessesacross physical risk, transitionrisk, natureriskand emerging risks.

You will work closely with seniorMSCIleadership and cross-functional teams to translate client needs, market insights, and data capabilities into shipped products. Operating in an AI-first product environment , this role spans the full product lifecycle—from early discovery and validation through build, launch, and ongoing enhancement of live solutions.

This role is execution-oriented, collaborative, and designed to grow in scope over time, offering meaningful exposure to product strategy, client engagement, and go-to-market execution whilemaintaininga strong focus on delivery excellence.

Your Key Ressponsibilities

• Leadideation,discoveryand executionof newS&Cproductsin private marketswhere AI is grounded in solutioning

• DriveS&Csolutionsin private markets for MSCIspecializing in eitherdata management,ananalytical segment(physical risk,transitionrisk,nature/biodiversityriskand emerging risks),or deriveddata products (taxonomies and ratings)

• Support the creation ofbusinesscases by conductingdeep market due diligence on competitive landscape, opportunitysizingand market positioning

• Design pricing models and support sales campaign planning and execution

• Work with Program Management, Marketing, and Coverage to assist coordination of go to market planning and execution including subject matter expertise for the development of product support collateral and client facing documentation

• Analyse product usage statistics and reporting to develop insights into client behaviors, needs, productopportunitiesand risks

• Prepare reports or analysis for MSCI’s senior management business reviews

• Support strategic client opportunities from a product perspective

• Build deep knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

• 2+ years of experience in an S&Cproduct management role, with domainexpertiseof financial services, privatemarkets,artificialintelligenceand S&C

• Deep understandingand experience ineither physical risk, transitionriskor nature risk

• Experience in business/financial analysis, data analysis, process mapping and specification writing, and familiarity with the product management & development lifecycle

• Knowledge,understandingand experienceofworking withAI toolsto prototype and solution

• Detail-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving with a strong execution mindset

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CFA, or CAIA preferred)

• Energetic, self-motivated, and intellectually curious with a growth mindset and passion for innovation
