Full job description
Clinical Liaison (RN/Allied Health Professional)
Location: Remote (covering PA and NYC)
Employment Type: Part-Time - Weekend Coverage 9a-5p
Compensation: $55-$60/hr
The Role
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional, looking to step away from direct hands-on care and transition into an administrative, strategic, and business development role?
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Clinical Liaison to serve as the primary bridge between our hospital partners and the myLaurel care team during the weekends. In this role, you will be covering remotely across multiple partner facilities. You will serve as the main point of contact for our Acute Care at Home program through EMR secure chat and direct outreach, and provide administrative coordination and education to drive referrals and ensure seamless patient handoffs.
What You'll Do
• Weekend & PTO Continuity Lead: Ensuring seamless weekend continuity for the full-time team, with additional capacity to provide coverage during planned PTO.
• Drive Patient and Partner Engagement:. Work alongside hospital case managers, discharge planners, emergency department staff, and physicians to generate referrals for our in-home care programs.
• Lead Administrative Coordination: Manage the logistical and administrative workflows of patient transitions, ensuring that the handoff from the hospital or emergency setting to the patient’s living room is flawless.
• Identify Eligible Patients: Use your clinical background to review patient charts, assess eligibility for our acute-care-at-home model, and advocate for safe, alternative care pathways.
What You Bring
• Active Registered Nurse or Allied Health License: Current, unencumbered license
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in an acute care clinical setting. Previous experience or a strong interest in healthcare business development, clinical sales, discharge planning, or utilization review is highly preferred.
• Relationship Builder: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the natural ability to establish trust and build rapport with busy medical professionals and patients.
• Administrative Excellence: Strong organizational skills and a desire to manage program logistics and care transitions rather than providing direct, hands-on patient care.
• Remote Work Acumen: Thrives in remote environments, adeptly managing high-volume partner communications and complex schedules.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating various EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) and utilizing CRM software to track referral status and patient coordination
Why Join myLaurel?
• Competitive Base Compensation: $55-60/hr
• Career Growth: The perfect opportunity to pivot your clinical expertise into the business, administrative, and growth side of healthcare.
• Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO)
• Financial Wellness: 401(k) retirement plan
• Impact: The opportunity to be on the ground floor of a transformative healthcare model that keeps patients out of the hospital and in their homes.
