Full job description
Objective: Support sales, marketing, and growth initiatives through data analysis, market research, prospecting, and other key activities. About Us: Delfina provides a leading pregnancy care data platform to improve maternal and child health outcomes. About You: As a Delfina Enrollment Specialist, you will be the face of our program within our partner OB/GYN practices in specified geographies within Austin, Texas. You’ll meet expectant mothers in the waiting room or during their visit to educate them about Delfina’s program, answer questions, and guide them through a simple digital enrollment process. This is a highly patient-facing role that combines compassion, communication, and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with clinic staff and Delfina’s implementation team to ensure a seamless experience for patients and providers. Responsibilities:
- Engage with patients onsite at OB/GYN partner clinics to introduce the Delfina program and assist with enrollment.
- Educate patients about the benefits of continuous support through Delfina’s platform, using clear and empathetic communication.
- Guide patients through secure enrollment, ensuring accurate data entry and patient consent in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collaborate with clinic staff (front desk, nurses, and providers) to integrate Delfina enrollment smoothly into patient flow.
- Document daily activity, including number of patients approached, enrollments completed, and feedback received.
- Relay insights from the field to Delfina’s growth and implementation teams to improve messaging and workflow.
- Champion the patient experience — build trust, answer questions, and represent Delfina’s mission with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare or patient-facing roles, such as medical assistant, patient navigator, community health worker, or customer service in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you’re warm, approachable, and confident engaging patients and clinic staff.
- Organizational strength and reliability — you can manage multiple conversations and maintain accurate records.
- Comfort with technology, including tablets, mobile apps, and HIPAA-compliant digital forms.
- Empathy and cultural sensitivity — ability to connect with patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Preferred: Experience in maternal health, OB/GYN clinics, or women’s health programs.
- Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
We value that everyone at Delfina brings a unique background and perspective. Prospective applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet 100% of the listed qualifications and are encouraged to use their resume and other application materials to demonstrate how their skills meet, or are equivalent to, the listed qualifications. Compensation: $20 - $30 USD per hour The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training.
