Responsibilities

  • Generate accurate and timely quotes for contract and retail customers, consistently meeting a target turnaround time of within two hours.

  • Recommend appropriate apparel decoration methods, including screen printing, embroidery, direct-to-garment (DTG), patches, and other techniques based on project scope, budget, and timeline.

  • Manage retail orders from initial quote through production handoff, ensuring all details are clearly documented and communicated.

  • Communicate directly with customers to clarify specifications, artwork requirements, quantities, timelines, and expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Production, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of all quoted and confirmed work.

  • Maintain pricing accuracy across all quotes and orders while actively protecting margins and supporting overall profitability.

  • Utilize internal systems and tools to track quotes, orders, and customer communication, ensuring information is current and easily accessible.

  • Interpret artwork requirements, including vector formats, placements, and basic production constraints, to confirm feasibility and guide customer decisions.

  • Manage multiple quotes and orders simultaneously, keeping projects moving forward without bottlenecks.

  • Work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions, prioritizing tasks to meet customer deadlines and production schedules.

  • Demonstrate clear, confident communication with customers and internal teams to build trust and ensure alignment on project expectations.

Essential Skills

  • 25 years of relevant experience in apparel decoration, print production, estimating, or a closely related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of apparel decoration methods, or a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn these methods quickly.

  • Ability to interpret artwork requirements, including vector file formats, placement details, and basic production constraints.

  • Proven experience with pricing, quoting, and managing customer accounts in a production or print environment.

  • Hands-on order management skills, from initial quote through production handoff.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort working directly with customers in a customer-facing role.

  • High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple quotes and orders simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset when reviewing artwork, specifications, and production requirements.

  • Ability to work efficiently under time-sensitive conditions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

  • Demonstrated margin awareness and commitment to maintaining pricing accuracy across all quoted work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks for financial and order-related data entry and tracking.

  • Experience with Shopify for managing retail orders and e-commerce workflows.

  • Experience with InkSoft or similar platforms for quoting and managing decorated apparel projects.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems for tracking customer communication, quotes, and order history.

  • Experience in screen printing, embroidery, or promotional products, with practical knowledge of production processes.

  • Experience working in high-volume quoting environments where speed and accuracy are critical.
