Overview
Shifts Available : Days (Mon day thru Friday)
Employment Type : Full Time
Hours : 8hr shifts – 5 : 30 am to 2 : 00 pm
Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center – Gadsden, AL
We are seeking an Operating Room Orderly , sometimes referred to as a n Operating Room Aide or Operating Room Assistant. The Operating Room Orderly p erforms a variety of duties to support the Operating Room and surgical team, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and a clean, safe environment. Assists with patient transport, room preparation and turnover, and other duties necessary to support efficient surgical operations.
Responsibilities

Assist with OR room preparation, cleaning, and turnover between procedures
-
Transport patients safely to and from the Operating Room
-
Stock and maintain surgical supplies and equipment
-
Assist OR staff with positioning, moving equipment, and other non-clinical needs
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe surgical environment
Qualifications
-
BLS (AHA Certification) upon hire and maintain current
-
Safe Patient Handling Training within 30 days of hire
-
Transportation experience, preferred
