Overview

Shifts Available: Days (Monday thru Friday)

Employment Type: Full Time

Hours: 8hr shifts – 5:30am to 2:00pm

Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center – Gadsden, AL

We are seeking an Operating Room Orderly, sometimes referred to as an Operating Room Aide or Operating Room Assistant. The Operating Room Orderly performs a variety of duties to support the Operating Room and surgical team, including maintaining supplies, equipment, and a clean, safe environment. Assists with patient transport, room preparation and turnover, and other duties necessary to support efficient surgical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with OR room preparation, cleaning, and turnover between procedures

  • Transport patients safely to and from the Operating Room

  • Stock and maintain surgical supplies and equipment

  • Assist OR staff with positioning, moving equipment, and other non-clinical needs

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe surgical environment

Qualifications

  • BLS (AHA Certification) upon hire and maintain current

  • Safe Patient Handling Training within 30 days of hire

  • Transportation experience, preferred
