Full job description

Imagine what does not yet exist, then help bring it to life.

In this role, you will shape the future of beverage equipment used around the world, creating intuitive, human-centered physical experiences and helping bridge physical and digital products.

You will thrive in this role if you bring a combination of creative vision, proven design expertise, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative, future-focused mindset:

  • Creative and Consumer-Centered: You are a forward-thinking Industrial Designer who uses consumer insights to guide product form, color, materials, finishes, graphics, ergonomics, and intuitive touchpoints.

  • A Seasoned Pro: You bring 7+ years in industrial design focused on consumer products, a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, and expertise in SolidWorks/CAD, KeyShot/Blender, and Adobe CC, with Figma/UI design experience preferred.

  • Courageous but Thoughtful: You think beyond familiar answers, challenge peers constructively, make moves with intention, and understand the business impact of design decisions for all stakeholders.

  • Future-Focused and Collaborative: You explore emerging technologies with curiosity, improve how work gets done, elevate the team’s potential, and willingly contribute beyond your core responsibilities to help the team win.

You are energized by new product launches and the impact our work can have in the world. At Coca-Cola’s Global Equipment Platforms team, you will join a tight-knit, multidisciplinary design team partnering with engineers, manufacturers, and innovators across a global portfolio of 17M+ coolers, vending machines, fountain dispensers, Freestyle units, and more.

What You’ll Do for Us

Imagine, Create, and Lead Industrial Design

  • Generate original, future-focused concepts that challenge conventional thinking while responding to real consumer, customer, brand, and business needs.

  • Lead industrial design direction for projects from discovery through production, defining the vision, principles, and standards that guide detailed design development to enable consistent execution across global partners.

  • Provide art direction and clear design feedback to agencies, manufacturers, and other development partners, ensuring solutions are aligned with the intended vision, intuitive, on-brand, manufacturable and scalable.

  • Develop concepts, sketches, CAD, renderings, graphics, mock-ups, market-ready designs and prototypes for dispensers, coolers, vending machines, and related components.

  • Create compelling product stories, presentations, and design narratives that build confidence in a creative direction and help teams make decisions.

Design Around People

  • Put consumers, customers, crew members, and service technicians at the center of design decisions.

  • Partner with UX researchers and project teams to observe behavior, identify unmet needs, translate insights into design opportunities, and validate concepts with users.

  • Apply human factors, ergonomics, accessibility awareness, and intuitive interaction principles across physical and connected experiences.

  • Partner closely with engineering throughout development to balance desirability, usability, brand expression, technical feasibility, manufacturability, durability, cost, and operational realities.

Collaborate and Deliver

  • Work as a generous, low-ego teammate and trusted partner across industrial design, UX, UI, engineering, software, insights, marketing, procurement, agencies, and equipment manufacturers.

  • Invite critique, communicate design intent clearly, and use feedback to make the work stronger.

  • Independently manage priorities and deliverables while actively contributing to the success of the broader team.

Support Visual and Graphic Design

  • Create or refine graphics for equipment, concept presentations, design documentation, mock-ups, and prototypes; and prepare clear graphic files, guidance, or production specifications for agencies, manufacturers, and other partners.

  • Understand, promote, and apply Coca-Cola brand standards and visual identity principles across equipment graphics.

  • Preferred: Support UI initiatives and developments across all global equipment platforms (dispense, Freestyle, vending, etc)

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, such as injection molding, metal finishing, die-casting, and extrusion, with an emphasis on managing cost and quality

  • Experience collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring designs to market

  • Practical experience applying user-centered design, ergonomics, research findings, or usability feedback to physical product decisions

  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial design project management, ensuring project deliverables meet timelines and quality expectations
