Tax Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a Tax Accountant with 2–3 years of experience in individual and business tax preparation, along with some bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in Lacerte software and supporting a diverse client base that includes manufacturing, wholesale, and medical practices. Because a large portion of clients are bilingual, Chinese language skills are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns

• Handle basic to moderate bookkeeping responsibilities

• Work with clients across industries including manufacturing, wholesale, and healthcare/medical practices

• Use Lacerte software for tax preparation and related work

• Organize and review financial records and tax documents

• Communicate with clients to gather needed information and clarify tax-related matters

• Support tax season deadlines and assist with related accounting tasks as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in individual and business tax

• Some bookkeeping experience

• Experience using Lacerte tax software

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines

• Good communication and client service skills

• Chinese language skills preferred due to a bilingual client base

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but equivalent practical experience will be considered

• CPA not required
