Full job description
Under the direction of the Policy and Communications Deputy, the legislative intern will: Track legislation relevant to the Treasurer s Office; Attend legislative committee meetings, hearings, and floor sessions; Prepare notes and summaries; Coordinate meetings with legislators; Conduct research and draft briefing materials on public finance, financial education, investments, office history, and related policy issues; Support financial education initiatives; Attend board and commission meetings; Support logistical and administrative needs of the office during the legislative session; and Perform other duties as assigned to advance the mission of the office.
