Boston University's Questrom School of Business launched the Online MS in AI in Business (AIB) program in Fall 2026. Designed for a global community of learners, the AIB program prepares professionals to lead in an AI-enabled business environment through a curriculum grounded in a problem-first, tools-second approach, responsible AI, innovation, strategy, and leadership. We are currently seeking a Learning Facilitator to support the Mod 2 learner experience. This role is central to delivering a high-quality, student-centered online learning experience and represents a reimagined approach to learner support in an AI-enabled educational environment. The Learning Facilitator serves as a guide, coach, and strategic thought partner who helps learners develop critical thinking, responsible AI practices, and executive-level judgment. The AIB Learning Facilitator will work closely with learners, faculty, Student Success, and stakeholder teams to support course delivery, learner engagement, assessment oversight, learner progress, and continuous improvement across the program experience.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree required.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in teaching, coaching, research, facilitation, or a related role.

  • Prior experience in coaching, facilitation, or a related role, including experience delivering or supporting online learning experiences, preferably at scale.

  • Strong familiarity with AI use cases, applications, and emerging trends across industries.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to experienced professionals with mixed technical backgrounds, guide troubleshooting without taking over learners' work, and provide effective asynchronous support.

  • Understanding of appropriate handling of sensitive data, credentials, and permissions, and the importance of verifying AI-generated outputs.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a remote and fast-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

  • Comfort working with ambiguity and rapidly evolving technologies, with a demonstrated curiosity and commitment to continuous learning.

Technical Skills Requirement:

Platform experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to build, test and troubleshoot AI-enabled workflows in Microsoft Copilot Studio or n8n. Copilot Studio is the anticipated primary platform; willingness to learn the selected environment is essential.

Workflow and integration skills:

  • Comfortable with conditional logic, variables, data mapping, basic JSON, connectors/API calls and reading execution histories.

Applied AI understanding:

  • Working knowledge of prompts, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling and human review/approval steps.

Troubleshooting and evaluation:

  • Able to diagnose configuration, connection and output-quality problems; compare results against clear criteria; document findings and escalate infrastructure issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with both Copilot Studio and n8n, including relevant Power Automate integrations and knowledge-source configuration.

  • Experience using Miro, Figma/FigJam, or comparable visual collaboration tools to map workflows, clarify human-AI responsibilities, and facilitate collaborative design discussions.

  • Miro is the anticipated choice; advanced visual design expertise is not required.

  • Experience supporting online adult learners, maintaining troubleshooting guides, and reading or adapting Python/Google Colab examples.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and online collaboration platforms.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
