Job Description
Optum is looking for an HB Claims and PB Claims Analysts to support ongoing Epic maintenance, optimization initiatives, upgrades, and project-based work across the revenue cycle environment.
Day to Day/Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with Patient Access teams
- Support Epic Prelude and Cadence applications
- Participate in application build, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization Primarily focus on Claims statusing
Skills and Requirements
Must Haves:
-
Epic PB Claims Certification (PB role) or Epic Resolute HB Claims Certification (HB role) required
-
5+ years of healthcare IT experience
-
3+ years of hands-on Epic PB Claims or HB Claims support experience
-
Experience with implementations, upgrades, optimization, and complex application build

Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, billing operations, claims processing, denials management, and reimbursement Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and lead projects independently Nice to Haves:

Additional Epic certifications (Resolute, Charge Router, Claims, Contract Management, Reporting Workbench, Clarity, etc.)

Experience supporting multiple hospitals or health systems

Self-directed, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision
