Full job description

We're hiring a Senior Fund Accountant / NAV Lead in Chicago, IL. Corgi ETF is building its fund accounting function in-house. We need the person who wants to own the daily books, runs the numbers, and defend the NAV. The Role: This is the accounting engine. You own daily trade capture validation, position accuracy, pricing load review, corporate actions, reconciliations, expense accruals, and the NAV package. On any given day, the accuracy and explainability of the books is yours to stand behind. What You Will Own:

  • Daily trade capture validation and booking completeness.
  • Portfolio positions, security master integrity, and corporate action booking.
  • Pricing load review and exception investigation (missing, stale, zero, outlier).
  • Cash and position reconciliations against custodian records.
  • Expense accruals, financing costs, realized and unrealized gain/loss.
  • Daily NAV package preparation and day-over-day movement explanation.
  • Month-end and year-end close support, audit schedules, and financial statement support.

What We Need to See:

  • Daily NAV production experience with sign-off responsibility.
  • Books and records ownership for ETFs or registered funds.
  • Complex reconciliation and break resolution experience.
  • Corporate action identification and booking.
  • Audit and financial statement support.
  • Manager / AVP / VP level experience at minimum.

Strongly Preferred: Experience on active ETFs, derivatives or leveraged strategies, custom baskets, or other non-plain-vanilla products.
