Responsibilities

Responsible for providing direct care services including individual and group counseling, support and other activities; participating in comprehensive assessment, development of treatment and discharge planning; maintaining clinical documentation, participating in and facilitating family and collateral meetings, team meetings and case conferences to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Masters degree from an accredited college or university in counseling or social work.

  • LCADC Candidates without a Masters degree will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Two years mental health experience. For Adolescent Services; at least one year of work with youth in a mental

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).

  • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Social Workers (LSW) within two years of terminal license and with authorized supervisors will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Valid NJ Motor Vehicle License

  • Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) within 6 months of hire and maintain current.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $29.11 to $36.39. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
