Job Description
For over 20 years, Supreme Consultants, LLC has proudly served children and families referred through the New Jersey Children's System of Care (CSOC). As one of the first Intensive In-Community providers in New Jersey, we are committed to delivering professional, compassionate, and culturally competent services that empower children and strengthen families.
We are seeking caring, dependable, and culturally competent Respite Workers to provide in-home and community-based support to children and adolescents with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities. Position Details
Position: Respite Worker (Per Diem)
Schedule: Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on family needs
Setting: In-home and community-based
Travel: Local travel to families' homes required

Purpose of Respite Services
Respite services provide temporary relief for caregivers while offering meaningful support to youth.
As a Respite Worker, you will:
Provide supervision and support in a safe, positive environment.
Engage youth in social, recreational, and community-based activities.
Help families take time to rest, attend appointments, strengthen relationships, or complete household responsibilities while knowing their child is receiving quality care.
Responsibilities
Provide scheduled in-home and community-based respite services.
Supervise and engage children and adolescents in age-appropriate activities.
Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment.
Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and required paperwork.
Upload documentation into the CYBER system.
Participate in monthly supervision.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Adhere to mandated reporting requirements and professional boundaries.
Communicate effectively with families and supervisors.
Qualifications
Experience working with children or individuals with developmental, behavioral, or intellectual disabilities preferred.
Solution-focused, dependable, and self-motivated.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Basic computer proficiency.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to complete required background checks.
TB clearance required.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
