Position SummaryThe Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet the property's cleanliness, quality, and presentation standards. This role conducts inspections of cleaned rooms, identifies deficiencies, and works closely with housekeeping staff to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms after housekeeping services are completed to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.

Verify that all room amenities, supplies, and equipment are properly stocked and functioning.

Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damage to appropriate departments.

Ensure housekeeping staff follow established cleaning procedures and company standards.

Reinspect rooms as needed to confirm corrective actions have been completed.

Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of public and back-of-house areas.

Communicate effectively with housekeeping supervisors and team members regarding room status and guest needs.

Support guest satisfaction by helping ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Qualifications
-
Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
Work Environment
This position requires frequent walking, standing, and inspecting guest rooms throughout the property. Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on business needs.
