Full job description
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to oversee accurate and compliant payroll operations for a growing workforce in Wisconsin. This role requires someone who can manage payroll activity across multiple platforms, interpret payroll regulations confidently, and support both domestic and cross-border processing. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical ability, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach when working with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:

Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employee populations of varying sizes, ensuring timely and accurate payment.

Coordinate payroll activities across more than one payroll system and maintain consistency between platforms, records, and outputs.

Process multi-state payroll while applying relevant tax, wage, and compliance requirements in each jurisdiction.

Manage Canadian payroll transactions and help ensure adherence to applicable regulations, statutory deductions, and reporting obligations.

Support international payroll operations by collaborating with vendors and stakeholders involved in global employee pay programs.

Prepare, review, and analyze payroll reports, reconciliations, and audit findings to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, leadership, benefits contacts, and third-party payroll providers to address payroll-related matters.

Safeguard sensitive payroll information while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. Requirements • Demonstrated experience handling full-cycle payroll from data review through final processing and reconciliation.

Proven ability to manage payroll across multiple systems or platforms in a complex operating environment.

Strong working knowledge of payroll compliance requirements, including multi-state payroll practices.

Hands-on experience processing Canadian payroll and supporting related statutory and reporting obligations.

Familiarity with international payroll operations, including coordination with global vendors or regional payroll partners.

Advanced skills in payroll reporting, analytics, and account reconciliation.

Strong attention to detail, sound discretion, and the ability to manage confidential information responsibly.
