Description
We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to support operations across multiple sites in Hudson County, New Jersey. This role is ideal for a bilingual HR leader who can guide leaders, strengthen employee engagement, and help build effective people practices in a fast-moving food distribution and manufacturing environment. The position will play a key role in talent strategy, workplace culture, compliance, and leadership support while contributing to continued business growth.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary HR partner for managers and employees across several operating locations, providing day-to-day guidance on people matters.

Advise leadership on performance issues, staffing needs, team development, and practical solutions that support business objectives.

Conduct workplace investigations, address employee concerns, and promote fair, consistent resolution in line with company standards.

Oversee hiring and onboarding efforts while helping develop retention strategies that improve the employee experience.

Monitor adherence to employment regulations at the federal, state, and local levels and recommend actions to reduce risk.

Coordinate HR programs such as leave administration, benefits support, training activities, and employee development initiatives.

Maintain accurate employee records, HR data, and reporting while supporting the effective use of HR systems and payroll-related processes.

Champion initiatives that strengthen engagement, reinforce a positive culture, and support organizational effectiveness.

Contribute to business expansion and organizational change efforts by partnering with leaders on workforce readiness and communication plans.

Support talent planning by working with leadership on succession strategies and the development of high-potential employees.
Requirements • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.

At least 5 years of progressive experience in human resources roles.

Demonstrated success supporting HR needs for multiple facilities, departments, or business units.

Strong background in employee relations, manager coaching, and performance management.

Working knowledge of employment law and accepted human resources practices.

Experience with HR systems, personnel reporting, and payroll-related administration.

Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
