Sr .NET Software Engineer

Job Description

The Senior .NET Software Engineer designs, develops, and supports scalable, high‑performance backend services using C# and .NET Core. On a day‑to‑day basis, this role involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices, collaborating with product owners, business analysts, QA, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions, and contributing to data modeling across relational and NoSQL databases. The engineer participates in system design, cloud infrastructure discussions, and CI/CD pipeline development within Azure, while writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to ensure quality and consistency. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting complex issues, supporting deployments and releases, contributing to technical documentation, mentoring junior developers, and continuously improving backend performance, reliability, and scalability across the platform.

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core

• Well-versed with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server) and with NoSQL/document databases (preferably MongoDB)

• Experience with Azure Cloud Platform (azure function apps, APIM, service bus, event grid, key vault, authentication mechanisms, and cosmos db) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with web APIs and microservices and strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and collaborative spirit

• Experience with front-end frameworks, such as Angular Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools for Azure
