Job Description

Description: Carroll College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nursing in its CCNE-accredited Baccalaureate Nursing program, beginning in August 2027. The Nursing Department seeks an engaged educator and colleague who demonstrates excellence in teaching, strong written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to student success, and support for the Catholic and diocesan mission of Carroll College.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continued excellence of our long-standing traditional and accelerated nursing pathways through classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate nursing courses; academic advising and mentoring students; developing curriculum; assessing and evaluating student learning outcomes; and actively participating in departmental, college, and professional service. Candidates should be passionate about preparing future nursing professionals and fostering a supportive, student-centered learning environment.

Qualifications: The successful candidate must have a master’s degree in nursing, at least five years of recent nursing practice, and an unencumbered Montana Registered Nurse license. We are seeking a colleague with broad nursing expertise, especially in Obstetrics and/or Pediatrics Nursing, for both our traditional and accelerated tracks. Previous teaching and simulation experience is desired but not required.
