  • Make disciplined portfolio and lifecycle decisions across customer value, differentiation, feasibility, quality, serviceability, pricing, product mix, margin, supply chain, upgrades, phase-outs, and EOL planning.

  • Evaluate build, partner, or buy options and collaborate directly with R&D on product development and new product introduction, supported by clear customer, financial, operational, and strategic rationale.

  • Partner across Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Service, Finance, Legal/IP, Supply Chain, regional teams, and external partners to remove barriers and drive revenue growth, profitability, and execution.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 10+ years of product management, product development, or related experience, including people leadership in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong understanding of Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography technologies, workflows, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and lifecycle requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to apply customer-focused thinking and translate complex market, technical, quality, service, and commercial inputs into product strategy, roadmaps, requirements, lifecycle decisions, launches, and executive recommendations.

  • Proven cross-functional leadership with R&D, Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Quality, Service, Finance, Legal/IP, Supply Chain, regional teams, and external partners.

  • Strong business acumen and experience owning portfolio or product-line financial accountability, including pricing, volume, product mix, margin, regional strategies, resource trade-offs, revenue growth, and profitability.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, influence without authority, drive alignment from strategy through execution, and travel for customer, partner, R&D, commercial, validation, launch, and global stakeholder engagement.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including domestic and international travel and occasional overnight stays, for customer visits, partner meetings, R&D collaboration, and business events.
