We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer with a strong background in Quality Management Systems (QMS) to support supplier qualification, onboarding, performance monitoring, and risk management. In this role, you will execute QMS surveillance and manage corrective actions to ensure suppliers consistently meet regulatory and operational requirements. As a key driver of quality, you will champion a zero-defect mindset across our supplier base to ensure the highest levels of product integrity.
This position supports travel of up to 75%.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically requires a Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing) or Quality Management and four years of related experience.
This is a full-time remote position. Must be able to support travel of up to 75% across the continental United States and International.
Proven experience executing Quality Management System audits in a regulated aerospace or defense environment.
Lead Auditor Certification in ISO 9001:2015 or higher and AS9100D standards.
Proficiency in process auditing and the ability to identify systemic gaps.
Ability to write professional, technical audit reports with a high degree of accuracy.
Strong organizational skills to plan and execute a complex audit schedule while tracking multiple corrective actions simultaneously.
Proficiency in root cause analysis and the ability to verify the effectiveness of supplier corrective actions; experience utilizing 7 QC tools to identify, analyze, and solve process/quality problems
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Stakeholder management, leadership, and coaching skills.
Demonstrated experience in a defense or highly regulated manufacturing environment, with a deep understanding of production-level quality controls.
Disciplined time management and reporting habits.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

Experience with APQP and PPAP processes

Knowledge of Process Mapping, PFMEA, and Control Plans

Proficiency in Oracle or TipQA
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
