Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an ERP Specialist to support a manufacturing client in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. This individual will serve as the primary local resource for ERP-related activities within the U.S. organization while partnering closely with the global IT team and external Microsoft Dynamics partners.
This person will play an important role in the implementation, go-live, and stabilization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). After implementation, they will take ownership of ongoing ERP support, process improvements, user support, and business application initiatives for the U.S. organization.
Provide day-to-day functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Troubleshoot ERP issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions with global IT teams and external partners Support ERP functions across sales, purchasing, production, inventory, warehouse management, intercompany processes, and finance/accounting Support the U.S. D365 implementation through testing, data validation, user training, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization Translate business requirements into functional system requirements Test ERP enhancements, integrations, and configuration changes Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with local key users Partner directly with business users to understand operational challenges and improve processes Create system documentation, operating procedures, and training materials Deliver ERP training for new and existing users Support data quality, master data, reporting, and troubleshooting using tools such as Power BI and SQL Act as the connection between the U.S. business and the global ERP organization, working with teams across multiple countries and time zones
Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience Previous experience supporting or implementing an ERP system Understanding of business processes within areas such as inventory, warehouse/logistics, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, or finance Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work directly with business users and translate operational needs into system solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with an international team Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Dynamics AX 2012 or AX 2009 experience D365 Warehouse Management Manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industry experience Power BI SQL Power Platform / Power Automate System integrations and APIs ERP implementation or rollout experience User Acceptance Testing Azure DevOps Familiarity with X++ / Dynamics development concepts
