Full job description

The Assistant Group Supervisor assists the Group Supervisor with daily classroom activities, child supervision, routines, and program implementation. The Assistant Group Supervisor may coordinate daily activities and supervise aides when the Group Supervisor is absent. Qualifications The Assistant Group Supervisor must meet one of the following: - High school diploma or GED, plus 30 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services. - High school diploma or GED, plus at least 600 hours of approved related training. - High school diploma or GED, plus 15 college credits in a related field and one year of experience working with children. - High school diploma or GED, plus completed post-secondary training in a related field. - High school diploma or GED, plus two years of experience working with children.
