Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for a top commercial construction client supporting fast-paced commercial interiors and tenant improvement projects in the Dallas market. This individual will work alongside experienced project leadership to coordinate subcontractors, schedules, quality, safety, logistics, and daily field operations.

Day-to-Day:

  • Support the Superintendent and PM in executing commercial interior/TI projects
  • Help manage daily field activities and subcontractor workflow
  • Monitor construction quality, schedule, safety, and site conditions
  • Coordinate interior trades and verify proper installation sequencing
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
  • Assist with site logistics, deliveries, temporary utilities, and material planning
  • Help coordinate work around occupied offices, tenant operations, security, noise, and dust restrictions Identify field issues early and work with leadership to implement solutions

Skills and Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of commercial construction experience within commercial interiors/TI projects
  • Experience with corporate interiors, Class A office, hospitality, or similarly high-finish environments
  • Experience supervising fast-paced renovations and occupied-space construction
  • Experience sequencing and coordinating multiple interior trades
  • Understanding of shutdowns, valves, building systems, and isolating portions of active buildings for construction
  • Experience managing noise, dust, security, deliveries, loading dock restrictions, and tenant/building-management concerns
  • Ability to manage detailed project schedules and make/meet schedule commitments Ability to read plans, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals
