Employer's Name: Mastercard Technologies, LLC Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (O'Fallon, MO) Position Duties: Use Jenkins to orchestrate builds as well as link to Sonar, Chef, Maven, Artifactory, etc. to build out the CI/CD pipeline. Support deployments of code into multiple lower environments. Design and implement a Git based code management strategy that will support multiple environment deployments in parallel. Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services---from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement. Analyze ITSM activities of the platform and provide feedback to development teams on operational gaps or resiliency concerns. Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, capacity planning and launch reviews. Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. Support the application CI/CD pipeline for promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating, and lead Mastercard in DevOps automation and best practices. Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems. Take a holistic approach to problem solving, by connecting the dots during a production event through the various technology stacks that make up the platform, to optimize mean time to recover. Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Design, Physics or Mathematics or related technical field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or as a Business / Computer Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related. Qualifying experience must include at least three (3) years with each of the following: Python, groovy, HTML, CSS, REACT; Experience with analyzing algorithm efficiency, including understanding time; Knowledge of arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, hash tables, and their appropriate applications; Experience writing automation scripts for tasks such as data preprocessing, file management, and workflow automation using scripting languages in Python, Django, Bash, PowerShell, groovy, Django; Experience with version control systems like Git; Experience with Software Design Principles as described in "Programming Languages"; Experience with debugging code, writing unit tests like JUNIT, and using testing frameworks to ensure software reliability; Experience with documenting code, algorithms, and pipeline workflows for maintainability and knowledge sharing in confluence, One Note, Design documents; Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD); Experience with analytical and logical reasoning to troubleshoot EIB triage issues, cloud VM's; Jira, Confluence, or Rally; SQL and Postgress, Oracle databases; Linux/Unix or Windows environments; Knowledge of secure coding practices to protect data and software integrity in all stages of development.
