Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of NYS Learning Standards and state assessments

• Experience working as an instructional coach or teacher leader (required)

• Experience with implementing effective instructional coaching cycles

• Strong depth of understanding of the Science of Reading, Science of Mathematics, Explicit Instruction, and Visible Learning

• Possesses a demonstrated vision for improving high-quality instruction and teaching

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others

• Trained in Kagan engagement structures

• Strong knowledge of high impact instructional practices

• Empathetic listener, communicative, approachable

• Strong lesson planning, instructional execution and demonstrated evidence of high student achievement

• Self-starter, motivated to support teachers in their classrooms

• Strong desire to help teachers build capacity and independence

• Commitment to equity and inclusion of all members of the school community

• Commitment to implementing the district's Instructional Priorities and the Instructional Focus Plan

Requirements:NY state certification in teaching

Position Available:ASAP

Salary:$47,821 - $60,014 (depending on college/graduate credits)
