Full job description
About Paradromics Brain-related illness is one of the last great frontiers in medicine, not because the brain is unknowable, but because it has been inaccessible. Paradromics is building a brain-computer interface (BCI) platform that records brain activity at the highest possible resolution: the individual neuron. AI algorithms then decode this massive amount of brain-data, enabling the seamless translation of thought into treatments. Our first clinical application, the Connexus® BCI, will help people who are unable to speak, due to ALS, spinal cord injuries and stroke, to communicate independently through digital devices. However, the capabilities of our BCI platform go far beyond our first application. With the brain in direct communication with digital devices, we can leverage technology to transform how we treat conditions ranging from sensory and motor deficits to untreatable mental illness. The Role Paradromics is seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager of Financial Systems to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems that support our fast-growing organization in Austin, TX. This role will oversee business-critical platforms across finance, operations, quality, and supply chain, ensuring systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with company objectives.
Responsibilities Lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of core business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, MRP, HRIS), in coordination with various stakeholders. Oversee system integrations and data architecture across platforms to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Partner with executive leadership to align systems roadmap with business goals and growth plans. Drive process optimization and automation across finance, manufacturing, quality, and commercial operations. Establish governance, change management, and system documentation best practices. Develop and maintain reporting and analytics capabilities to support decision- making. Oversee system security, user access controls, and data integrity in partnership with IT and cybersecurity teams. Proactively maintain system validation and documentation to ensure readiness for audits and regulatory inspections. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (e.g., GAAP, FDA, ISO 13485). Build and lead a high-performing business systems and applications team, including oversight of outsourced resources. Manage relationships with system vendors, consultants, and third-party providers.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related fields. 10+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or IT leadership roles. Proven leadership in implementing and managing ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms. Strong understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and operations. Experience with system integrations, data management, and process automation. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong knowledge of internal controls, data governance, and system security best practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience in medical device, healthcare, defense, or other highly regulated industries. Experience scaling systems in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments. Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. Certifications such as PMP, CPA, or relevant ERP certifications. Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar data analytics platforms. Experience using AI-enabled tools within enterprise systems and business processes.
Paradromics is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
