This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the office. Job Summary The Civil Engineer ensures appropriate civil and structural designs are completed in support of power delivery projects at company substations, electrical vaults, Right of Way corridors, and other company locations. This position will be based out of our downtown Milwaukee location and will require occasional travel to field locations throughout the We Energies service territory. This position will be a member of a design team comprised of engineers, designers, and drafting technicians. Job Responsibilities Responsible for civil/structural engineering assignments on a variety of projects and assignments in support of electric delivery projects Analyze and recommend civil/structural design options Preparation of engineering designs, material and construction specifications, and cost estimates Review of internal and external construction plans and implementation of construction activities Properly applies codes, standards, and regulation to relevant tasks, designs, and projects Work with internal and/or contract drafters to develop construction drawings and record as-built drawings Work with drafters and technicians to update standard drawings and other engineering documentation Work closely...
