Full job description

Lead Customer Success ManagerYou’ll own every Dealops customer from signed contract through renewal. You’re our first post-sales hire, so you get to build the function the way you think it should work. Our customers are fast-growing AI and fintech companies like Plaid, Pylon and Merge, and your job is to make Dealops the pricing system they can’t run without. You’ll be in the room early. What you hear from customers goes straight to the founder and the engineers building the product, and it shapes what we ship next. What you’ll do• Be the day-to-day contact for our customers’ Heads of Pricing, RevOps and Product. Drive adoption, run QBRs, own renewals.

  • Get customers productive fast through onboarding, training and enablement. You’ll build the guides, FAQs and admin resources they lean on.
  • Run the ongoing engagement cadence: check-ins, office hours, exec reviews, product updates.
  • Find and close expansion across your accounts.
  • Build the CS playbook from the ground up: onboarding, health scoring, success metrics, escalation.
  • Track account health with real data (adoption, usage, renewal risk) and use it to decide where to spend your time.
  • Turn customer insight into roadmap. You’ll work directly with the founders, product and engineering, and have real influence on priorities.

What we’re looking for• 3-5 years in customer success or account management at a high-growth B2B startup. Big-company-only backgrounds are a weaker fit.

  • You’ve owned accounts end to end, including renewals and expansion.
  • You know pricing, CPQ or RevOps tooling and are comfortable in the product and in customer workflows, not just on calls.
  • On-site in San Francisco, 5 days a week.
