New Account – Starting November 1
United Protective Services is seeking an experienced and professional Security Director to lead security operations for a new high-rise property beginning November 1.
This position is ideal for a strong leader who understands both security operations and high-level customer service. The Security Director will serve as the primary on-site representative for United Protective Services and will be responsible for leading the security team, maintaining a strong relationship with property management, and ensuring all officers consistently meet the standards of the property.
Schedule & Pay
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay: $24.50/hour
Primary Responsibilities

Provide daily leadership and supervision of the property's security team.

Serve as the primary liaison between United Protective Services and property management.

Establish a professional, customer-service-focused security presence throughout the high-rise property.

Ensure officers understand and consistently follow all post orders, policies, procedures, and client expectations.

Conduct regular inspections and audits of officer performance, patrols, reports, and assigned responsibilities.

Coordinate shift coverage and communicate staffing concerns to United Protective Services management.

Train, coach, and develop Security Officers to maintain consistent performance across all shifts.

Promote teamwork and accountability between first, second, and third-shift personnel.

Conduct and oversee interior and exterior security patrols.

Monitor access control, visitor and vendor procedures, building activity, and other security-related operations.

Review Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, and other security documentation for accuracy and professionalism.

Respond to and assist with security incidents, emergencies, tenant concerns, and unusual situations.

Maintain positive working relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency personnel.

Identify security or operational concerns and provide recommendations to property management and United Protective Services leadership.

Ensure all company and client equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.

Maintain a professional appearance and lead by example at all times.

Perform additional duties as required by the client or United Protective Services management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous security supervisory or management experience.
-
Strong leadership and personnel-management skills.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
A strong customer-service mindset and professional demeanor.
-
Experience working in a high-rise, commercial office, corporate, hospitality, or concierge environment preferred.
-
Ability to effectively train, coach, and hold employees accountable.
-
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
-
Experience completing and reviewing security reports and documentation.
-
Ability to communicate professionally with clients, tenants, executives, employees, and emergency personnel.

Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies or high-pressure situations.

Ability to stand, walk, and conduct property inspections for extended periods.
The Security Director will be expected to take ownership of the account, build a unified and professional security team, and ensure the property receives a consistently high level of security and customer service.
New account begins November 1.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMPay: $24.50/hour
Candidates must be able to pass a drug test.
