Team Overview
Our Informatica Data Integration Sales Team is at the forefront of the cloud revolution, helping the world's most complex enterprises solve their hardest data movement challenges. We don't just 'manage' data; we power the architecture that makes modern AI and Analytics possible. We specialize in modernizing legacy ETL environments, scaling high-speed mass ingestion, and orchestrating multi-cloud data pipelines through our Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). We help our clients move from fragmented silos to a high-performance data fabric, ensuring their data is ready for the demands of real-time processing and GenAI.
The Experience
As an Informatica Data Integration Specialist Account Executive, you will unlock the power of our Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) by partnering with Data Foundation Account Executives to drive high-impact integration outcomes. This role requires a unique blend of sales acumen and technical depth. We are looking for a strategist who can translate complex data engineering requirements into tangible business value. Someone who can navigate the technical nuances of ETL/ELT, Mass Ingestion, and Connectivity while effectively communicating their financial impact to CDOs and Cloud Architects.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing
- Achieving a dedicated quota for Data Integration products by identifying and closing complex opportunities
- Acting as a technical sales authority on Cloud Ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.), articulating how Informatica's IDMC provides the critical connectivity and performance layer for multi-cloud architectures
- Leading deep-dive discovery sessions to qualify high-volume data movement use cases, including Legacy ETL-to-Cloud migrations, Real-time Streaming, and API-led integration
- Driving forecasting accuracy and pipeline generation for Data Integration
- Partnering with Chief Data Officers and Enterprise Architects to align Informatica’s integration roadmap with their long-term AI and data engineering strategies
- Leading pricing and consumption capacity scoping efforts
You’re Our Person If...
- You have 7-10 years of experience selling Data Integration, iPaaS, or complex ETL solutions
- You have a proven track record of leading white-boarding sessions focused on Data Engineering pipelines and Cloud Data Warehousing (such as Snowflake/BigQuery) migration strategies
- You understand GenAI data readiness, specifically how high-quality data integration fuels RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and LLM performance
- You have a demonstrated track record of working collaboratively in dynamic, cross-functional team environments to achieve targets consistently
- You thrive in a collaborative, value-driven environment, sharing best practices and contributing to a high-energy sales culture
- You are known for your strong business acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills
Even Better If…
- You have recent sales experience with cloud ecosystems such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP
- You have deep knowledge and experience selling software in the Financial Services industry with an understanding of industry regulations
