In this role you will get too:

Manages the operations and activities of general radiology services. Provides accountability to the Radiology Leader for operating and capital budget performance and fiscal responsibilities. Responsible for the planning, development, implementation of policies, procedures, and systems of the department to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of SMDC Radiology as well as the requirements of Joint Commission, American College of Radiology, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies. Performs hiring, orienting, counseling, evaluating, and disciplinary actions as warranted. Ensures that staff members are adequately trained and developed.

Education Qualifications:

Graduate of/or actively seeking a degree from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Technology, an allied health/science area, or in a management area and two years of healthcare leadership experience.

OR

Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in supervising/managing radiology clinical operations including proven experience and success with implementing significant organizational change, setting performance measurements, establishing budget plans and monitoring process, strategic planning, program development and implementation and process improvement techniques
