----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GENERAL NATURE OF JOB DUTIES Under supervision of the Clinical Director, ensures that outpatient clinics are working with individuals, clinicians and other departments to provide best quality care. Oversee and supervises clinical staff in areas of best practice, ethical decision making, and general clinician duties. Works with individuals, families, and groups to provide optimum mental and emotional health. Perform clinical assessments, treatment and discharge planning with individuals beginning at age 4. Provides individual and group counseling/ therapy interventions for individuals and/or groups with complex issues associated with mild to moderate mental health conditions, substance abuse and other psychosocial stressors. Provides risk assessment for and executes involuntary commitment orders. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree in related field from accredited program and holds a Georgia state license as a Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
