Job Description
Job Description A client of Insight Global is undergoing an exciting leadership and is looking for an internal audit consultant across 3 different levels: specialist, consultant, and director. This role consists of leading and executing end-to-end audit engagements across various business functions, managing all phases of the audit lifecycle, conducting risk assessments to identify key business, operational, financial, and compliance risks, and presenting audit findings, observations, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
Day to Day Specialist

Execute complex audit engagements

Support audit planning and fieldwork

Mentor and train staff auditors

Provide technical support to the audit team

Assist with audit methodology improvements Consultant

Lead end-to-end audit engagements

Serve as project manager throughout the audit lifecycle

Perform risk assessments

Present findings and recommendations

Manage client relationships

Mentor junior auditors Director

Lead audit teams and people

Manage internal client relationships

Drive audit strategy and execution

Coach and develop audit staff

Oversee multiple audit engagements Partner with executive leadership
Skills and Requirements
Must Haves
-
Bachelor's Degree
-
4+ years of audit experience
-
Full end-to-end audit ownership

Risk and control assessment experience
-
Strong communication skills
-
Stakeholder management experience
-
Internal Audit and/or Public Accounting background Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Plusses

Big 4 experience
-
Insurance industry experience
-
Financial Services industry experience
-
AuditBoard experience
-
Data analytics experience CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, PMP
