Full job description

Description

We are looking for a Financial Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain accurate, timely financial records for an organization. This position is well suited for a hands-on accounting specialist who enjoys managing the full bookkeeping cycle, collaborating with colleagues, and supporting dependable financial processes in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the complete bookkeeping function, including recording transactions and maintaining organized financial documentation.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities with accuracy and appropriate follow-through.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet items to ensure financial data remains current and reliable.

  • Maintain financial records in QuickBooks and support consistent accounting procedures across daily operations.

  • Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and account analyses using Excel to assist with financial tracking and decision-making.

  • Work closely with internal team members to address accounting questions and support smooth coordination across functions.

  • Monitor financial activity for discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely and thorough manner.

Requirements • At least 5 years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience with strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.

  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to organize, analyze, and report financial data.

  • Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • An associate degree or higher is required.

  • Background in the nonprofit sector is preferred.

  • Demonstrated career stability and a consistent work history.

  • Ability to contribute effectively as a collaborative member of a team.
