Full job description
FASTSIGNS Stamford is hiring a handy, detail-oriented Part-Time Sign Installer to join our team in Stamford, CT. In this role, you will play a key part in bringing finished signs and graphics to life—whether mounted on a wall, anchored in the ground, applied to a vehicle, or suspended from a ceiling.
You will drive throughout Stamford and surrounding Fairfield County, using a variety of tools to assemble, erect, and hang installations both indoors and outdoors. If you enjoy hands-on building, solving practical challenges on job sites, and making sure work is done safely and accurately, this is a great fit.
Schedule & Location
• Schedule: Part-Time | Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Service Area: Stamford, CT and surrounding Fairfield County

Key Responsibilities
-
Complete off-site sign and print media installations across Stamford and Fairfield County.

Assess job sites to determine appropriate mounting hardware, placement, and safety measures.

Review job requirements, verify measurements, and confirm required tools prior to leaving the shop.

Estimate task timelines accurately and manage installation time efficiently in the field.

Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment while maintaining a secure workspace.

Ensure all installations are level, flush, plumb, and built to last.
Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Must be 18 years of age or older

Strong proficiency using hand and power tools

Comfortable working at heights and from ladders

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical work throughout the shift

Experience in sign installation, carpentry, construction, or handyperson work preferred

Experience operating scissor lifts or bucket trucks is a plus, but not required
