Full job description
A free public charter school located in Herriman, Utah, is now accepting applications for a part-time Music Teacher, 29 hours per week, beginning January 4, 2027. At Advantage Arts Academy, we are looking for teachers that love to have an active classroom where students collaborate with one another and are immersed in the curriculum through art integration. You don't have to be good at art to be a teacher at Advantage Arts, you just need to enjoy art. The mission of Advantage Arts Academy, in alignment with the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program, is to effectively increase our students' performance in every subject, as well as improve students' core academic capacity, emotional well-being, arts awareness, and social skills. Qualified Candidates will hold a valid Utah teaching license with a Music (K-12) endorsement. Candidates who hold certifications or endorsements to teach multiple subjects are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
