Network Engineer

We are seeking an Intermediate Network/Infrastructure Engineer to provide hands-on infrastructure and network support within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role will have a strong focus on Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, IT/OT connectivity, and Windows Server infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, life sciences, laboratory, or manufacturing environment and is comfortable supporting critical onsite infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Cisco switches, wireless networks, and Palo Alto firewalls

• Manage connectivity and network separation between corporate IT and OT environments

• Administer and support Windows Server infrastructure

• Support Nutanix and VMware virtual environments

• Assist with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, and access management

• Support Azure, AWS, Veeam backup/recovery, patching, and vulnerability management

• Provide infrastructure support for manufacturing, quality, and laboratory systems

• Assist with disaster recovery, business continuity, and systems lifecycle activities

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on networking and infrastructure engineering experience

• Experience with Cisco switching, firewalls, and enterprise network troubleshooting

• Windows Server and virtualization experience

• Experience supporting IT/OT connectivity

• Previous experience in a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environment

• Understanding of GxP/CSV requirements

• Ability to work onsite in downtown Baltimore approximately 4 days per week

• Comfortable working in a contract position

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
