Maintenance Operations Specialist

We use multiple data driven and automated tools to assist in our day to day work and we're looking for the right candidate willing to learn! JOB OBJECTIVE: Provide technical support in logistics, planning, record-keeping, and management for plant maintenance activities spanning both Engineering and Facilities functions. This includes managing BOM creation and maintenance, facilitating the timely completion of preventive and demand maintenance on production assets, and ensuring work orders opened in SAP are completed on time. Focus primarily on defined maintenance tasks under guidance, with coordination of service visits with established vendors. CORE DUTIES: 1. Utilize SAP to schedule, generate, and monitor notifications and work orders for Plant Maintenance (Engineering and Facilities). 2. Create and maintain SAP Master Data related to Plant Maintenance such as Functional Locations, Equipment, Bill of Materials (BOMs), Maintenance Strategies, Task Lists, and Maintenance Plans. 3. Facilitate the timely completion of preventive and demand maintenance by ensuring work orders in SAP are completed on time. 4. Coordinate service visits with established vendors as needed. 5. Identify and organize spare parts inventory to ensure accurate and efficient storage. 6. Research and initiate requisitions for direct and indirect purchases to support planned, demand, and project-based maintenance work. 7. Measure and manage data collection to support maintenance backlog and equipment downtime reporting. 8. Generate regularly needed reports from data available in SAP. 9. Create, record, and maintain documentation (SOPs, TRNs, EtQ documents) for Plant Maintenance procedures and records to ensure consistency and compliance. 10. Work closely with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) leadership to maintain a safe work environment. 11. Perform additional duties as assigned. 12.
