POSITION: BartenderDEPARTMENT: Food and BeverageREPORTS TO: Director of Food & BeverageFLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service while maintaining a positive guest experience• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies• Follow all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standardsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and/or Experience• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.• Preferred restaurant experienceSkills and Abilities• Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.• Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.• Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.• Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift.• Must be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards.• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
