As a Treasury Operations Intern, you'll support the daily wire operations that send funds to the closing table for every single close, and get exposure to the warehouse lines Rocket uses to fund those closings — sitting right at the intersection of treasury and capital markets. Reporting to the Treasury Operations team, you'll work with large, detailed data sets, build real Excel fluency, and help drive the process improvements that keep the team running smoothly. This is a numbers-heavy, detail-driven role where curiosity and a fresh set of eyes go a long way.
About the Role

Work with large, detailed data sets in Excel to support daily cash positioning, reconciliations, and reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cash position and cash forecasting

Reconcile cash-related accounts and journal entries to meet month-end close deadlines

Help monitor the warehouse lines used to fund closings, gaining exposure to how treasury connects with capital markets

Assist with intercompany settlements and transactions

Support internal and external audits by providing information and monitoring cash management activity for compliance

Maintain and validate settlement instructions

Monitor, analyze, and report on bank fees

Partner with other Finance teams on quarter-end close and ad-hoc requests

Contribute to process-improvement projects, bringing fresh ideas to how the team's day-to-day work gets done
About You
Minimum Qualifications
-
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
-
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large, detailed data sets
-
Self-directed, with strong follow-through on assigned work
-
Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Ability to work onsite
Preferred Qualifications

A curious, problem-solving mindset and a process-improvement orientation

Coursework or prior experience in treasury, finance, or accounting operations

Interest in capital markets or how warehouse lending works

Strong attention to detail, with comfort working under deadline pressure
