Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

Are you passionate about uncovering insights hidden within data and helping leadership make smarter business decisions? We're seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who thrives on solving complex business challenges, building impactful financial models, and turning numbers into actionable strategies.

In this highly visible role, you'll partner with leaders across the organization to analyze performance, forecast future results, optimize cash flow, and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. What You'll Do

  • Analyze sales, operational, customer, and product data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

  • Build and maintain financial models supporting revenue forecasts, inventory planning, transportation costs, and expense management.

  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reporting that drive informed decision-making.

  • Conduct scenario analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational performance.

  • Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital while assisting with treasury activities and lender reporting.

  • Present meaningful business insights and recommendations to leadership teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Accounting.

  • Drive process improvements through automation, AI, and advanced data analytics.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 2 + years of FP&A, Financial Analyst, Business Intelligence, Operations Finance, or related experience.

  • Advanced Excel skills with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Experience with Power BI, Domo, SQL, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business recommendations.

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to leadership.

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in CPG, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, or supply chain environments.

  • NetSuite or other ERP system experience.

  • Treasury, cash flow forecasting, or lender reporting exposure.

  • Passion for leveraging automation and AI to improve business processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Irvine, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
