The Role:
Our site inChaska, MNis seekinga Senior Director,Operationsto join our team.This role willlead a fast-paced, high-energy, and professionally rewarding environment while driving the organization towards a safe,customer quality focused,continuously improving and operationally mature culture.
TheSenior Director of Operationswill report to theAdvanced PuritySolutions Vice President of Operations(North America)and willbe located inChaska, MNandhave responsibility for the Bloomington, MN manufacturing site as well.
This position will require building strong working relationships across the organizationanddeveloping partnerships on a local and global level. This critical roleleadsthe safe operations of the siteandenablethe site operations teamstoexecute technical solutions related to manufacturing cycle time,optimize manufacturingcost,ensure superiorqualityproductare manufacturedandwhile driving strongproduct yield, forthe Fluid Handling business.
What You'll Do:
Responsible for theChaska, MNsite security and safety of operations, personnel and regulatory compliance;
Overall accountability for the safety, quality, cost, and delivery ofFluid Handlingmanufacturing operations inChaskaand Bloomington, operating on a 24x5schedule now and an expectation of ramping to 24/7 in the future.
Provide direction and prioritization to personnel regardingsiteplanning& -scheduling, purchasing, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quality, inventory control and distribution/logisticsactivity;
Lead cross-functional teams to resolve customer supply and quality issues and drive sustainable process improvements;
Develop and execute performance objectives to drive operational excellence;
Guide and support new product transition activities from engineering to high volume manufacturing (HVM);
Develop the leadership capability of theOperations Leadership team in addition toshiftsupervisors, and teamleads.
Strong ability to connect with shop floor employees to drive employee engagement,including a flexible work schedule to allow for facetime with your night and weekend shift employees
Coordinate and alignwith internal and external stakeholders including production engineering, maintenance, quality lab, material engineering,Business Unit,EH&S, and others on critical operational, supply chain, and commercial requirements.
Engage the workforce through being present across the facility, this includes, but is not limited to, frequent visits to the production floor, skip level meetings, town hall meetings, attendance in shift change meetings, etc.
What We Seek:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering(Chemical or Mechanical), with an advanced degree in Business or Management preferred.
10+yearsplant manufacturing or operations experience, with a track record of achievement.
Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred, with a strong emphasis on backgrounds in the semiconductor or pharmaceutical industries.
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, product scale-up, and product commercializationstronglypreferred.
Ability to exceed customer expectations in safety, quality and on time performance for all products produced;
Dedicated to excellence and a demonstration of creativity and innovation with notable progress in foundational elements of operational excellence.
Financial acumen, including plant budgeting/cost management work experience.
Lean and or Six Sigma certification desirable.

Compensation: The pay range for this role is $220,000-$280,000 with pay commensurate upon the candidate's experience.
