Full job description

The Digital Copywriter will be responsible for writing and/or developing online content for all digital marketing and eCommerce channels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Conceptualize and write creative content for all channels within digital marketing and eCommerce, from email and social media to landing pages and custom content. Follow marketing plans and strategy documents to write SEO-optimized web content (i.e. product descriptions, product titles, How-To repair content, sponsored content for digital vendors, etc.) Proofread and edit other work, adhering to AP style and SEO guidelines Follow internal research and proofing processes while also seeking ways to increase team efficiencies Work with the design team to ensure that copy and design elements work together seamlessly Support the planning and execution of the content strategy for the website Assist in the preparation of creative briefs for landing pages and other web content Keep current with digital content and SEO best practices, search engine ranking, and keyword and competitor research tools.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Required: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing or relevant field. 2+ years of experience in copywriting or other creative marketing fields Excellent writing and proofreading skills. Excellent verbal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to present a professional company image and positive attitude. Comfortable in a TEAM-oriented work environment. Ability to work productively and creatively with limited supervision. Superb attention to detail. Desired: Experience and knowledge of video content production and scripting Automotive knowledge.
