Position Summary

Bridgestone seeks energetic and motivated Production Teammates to join our manufacturing team in Bloomington, Illinois. As a Manufacturing Production Teammate, you will focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shifts Monday – Friday (assigned by seniority):

  • 11p-7a

  • 7a-3p

  • 3p-11p

  • Overtime, including weekends, may be required.

Competitive Compensation:

  • Starting wage for Production Teammates is $22 /hr

  • Top pay over $36 /hr.

Job Responsibilities:

  • A focus on Safety First, Always

  • Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/waste targets, and quality standards

  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods

  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products

  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred :

2 years of previous industrial/manufacturing experience AND 2 years of stable work history
