Overview: The County of Sullivan is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for the Sullivan County District Attorneys Office. This position is ideal for an attorney with an interest in criminal law and litigation who is committed to holding individuals who commit crimes accountable. The office currently employs eleven (11) Assistant District Attorneys and offers one of the highest entry-level salaries in New York State, along with a lower cost of living than many other counties. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong character, and effective interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
