Job Description
The Software Developer will join a growing technology team focused on building internal applications, improving business processes, and supporting major system conversion initiatives. Day to day, this person will develop and enhance internal tools, dashboards, and web applications while partnering closely with existing developers and the Director of Technology. A major part of the role will involve supporting HRIS and ERP conversions, including data mapping, ETL, integrations, data validation, and database-driven reporting. The Developer will also work with APIs and relational databases, troubleshoot application issues, identify opportunities to automate manual processes, maintain technical documentation, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and software vendors.
Skills and Requirements
3+ years of experience in software development, data integration, or a related technical role
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar
Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases
Experience working with APIs, ETL processes, and data integrations
Experience supporting system implementations, conversions, or data migrations
Experience with version control tools such as GitHub
Ability to build and maintain database-driven reports Experience with UKG Ready or another HRIS/payroll platform
Experience supporting ERP implementations or conversions
Experience integrating HRIS, ERP, and other enterprise applications
Experience developing internal web applications, dashboards, or operational tools
Experience automating manual business processes
Experience using AI tools within a development environment
Experience working directly with third-party software vendors or implementation partners
Background supporting technology initiatives in a growing or operationally complex organization
