As a Data Center Field Installations Technician (L2), you'll play a critical role in bringing this state-of-the-art environment online. You'll work hands-on with enterprise hardware, structured cabling, rack deployments, and advanced cooling technologies while collaborating with experienced technicians and engineers on a high-profile infrastructure project.

What You'll Be Doing

• Rack and stack servers, storage, and network equipment

• Build and deploy data center infrastructure according to design specifications

• Install, route, and validate fiber optic and copper cabling

• Configure and verify rack power systems, PDUs, and redundant power feeds

• Work with advanced cooling technologies, including Direct-to-Chip (D2C) liquid cooling systems

• Perform server imaging, OS installations, hardware validation, and system bring-up activities

• Conduct quality assurance inspections and installation audits

• Troubleshoot deployment issues and assist with resolution

• Read and interpret rack elevations, schematics, cabling diagrams, and technical documentation

• Support and mentor junior technicians

• Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to ensure successful deployments

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience

• Data Center Technician, Data Center Installation, or similar hands-on infrastructure experience

• Rack & Stack experience

• Fiber and copper cabling installation experience

• Hardware installation and troubleshooting experience

• Experience working with servers, storage, and networking equipment

• Understanding of power distribution and PDUs

• Ability to read technical drawings and installation documentation

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Large-scale or hyperscale data center projects

• Google, Microsoft, Meta, AWS, Oracle, NTT, or other enterprise data center environments

• OS imaging and deployment tools

• BIOS and firmware configuration

• Direct-to-Chip (D2C) liquid cooling systems

• High-density compute or AI infrastructure environments

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite at a newly constructed AI Data Center near Abernathy, TX. The environment is hands-on and fast-paced, focused on the deployment of critical infrastructure supporting next-generation computing technologies.

Technicians will work with:

• Enterprise servers and networking equipment

• Fiber optic and copper cabling

• Power distribution systems and PDUs

• Advanced liquid cooling systems

• Large-scale rack deployments

Candidates should be comfortable working around active infrastructure, standing for extended periods, lifting equipment, and operating in a construction and commissioning environment while following strict safety procedures.

Available Shifts

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM

3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Compensation

Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.00/hr
