Process Improvement Manager | Lead Lean Transformation in Aerospace Operations

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation and aerospace industry to hire an experienced Process Improvement Manager in Sparks, NV . As a Senior Process Improvement Manager , you'll play a key role in advancing lean, efficient, and successful operations. You will partner with business area and functional leadership to develop and deploy process improvements, establish meaningful performance metrics, and ensure industry and organizational best practices are effectively implemented.

This is an opportunity for a strategic problem-solver who can combine Six Sigma methodology, Lean principles, process standards, and leadership to make a measurable difference across the organization.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the implementation and deployment of organizational and industry best practices .

  • Develop and execute process improvement initiatives that support strategic business objectives.

  • Partner with business area and functional leadership to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, and operational performance .

  • Lead communication and training efforts surrounding new processes, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Establish meaningful metrics and performance indicators that identify trends and drive continuous improvement.

  • Analyze operational challenges and develop solutions to strategic process issues.

  • Support the development of lean, efficient, and sustainable business processes.

  • Coordinate and lead internal and external audits and appraisals .

  • Communicate audit and appraisal results to appropriate stakeholders and support resulting improvement efforts.

  • Help ensure processes remain aligned with established standards, organizational requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across teams and functions.

Required Qualifications

We're looking for a process improvement professional with the ability to think strategically while successfully driving initiatives through execution.

You should bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of the required education.

  • Knowledge and experience applying process improvement methodologies in a professional environment.

  • Ability to work effectively with leadership and cross-functional organizations.

  • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

  • Current Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is preferred. Candidates without a current certification must be willing to immediately take steps toward attaining one.

Preferred Qualifications

You'll stand out with:

  • Approximately 6 to 8 years of relevant experience .

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification .

  • Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing principles .

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI process standards .

  • Experience with program management processes, standards, and certifications .

  • Experience implementing metrics and using performance data to drive improvement.

  • Experience coordinating or leading internal and external audits or appraisals.

  • Advanced education in a related discipline. Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.

Pay Details: $73.34 per hour
