Grants and Contracts OfficerThe Department of Neurology is seeking a Grants and Contracts Officer to facilitate the grant process, pre- and post-award. Coordinate research, prepare, finalize, submit, and follow up on industry, foundation, and/or government grants. Research and draft proposals, develop budgets, and manage the submission process, ensuring deadlines are met. Process grant reconciliations, maintain records, and communicate with funders. Establish relationships with foundations.This position provides complex administrative support for Various Principal Investigators and their labs. The desirable candidate will have demonstrated a strong organizational capacity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance priorities while ensuring follow-through with a diverse set of responsibilities.This position will be primarily remote with occasional days in the office.Learn more about the great benefits of working for University of Utah: benefits.utah.eduThe department may choose to hire at any of the below job levels and associated pay rates based on their business need and budget.
